Three

On Sunday, it marked 3 years since my very first blog post!

After following other people's blogs for years, in 2009 I remember hesitantly posting:

"I don't know why this blog has been put off for so long...maybe it's because I'm a perfectionist and didn't want to start until I knew I would be fully committed...either way, here it is. my first blog post. Nothing fancy, just saying hello. Here's to my adventure of blogging!!"

What started as a space to rant about my thoughts, weekend plans and latest kitchen creations, has evolved into a sounding board of what God has done and will continue doing in my life.

Three years ago I wanted to blog for me.
So I can look back at different seasons in my life and measure growth.
So my future kids could have an online glimpse of what my life was like as a single, young woman.

Three years later, I'm still blogging for me.
But I'm blogging for you too, whoever you are.
For the person wondering if faith is worth it.
For the person hesitant to believe God is willing or even able to come through.
For the person who needed a reminder that God is real and that He's listening.

And just like three years ago, before this blog was ever for you, it was first for me.
To show me that faith is worth it.
To encourage me to believe that God is most definitely willing and able to come through.
And to remind me that God is real and that He listens.

Because I would never write about something I haven't first applied to myself.
Because regardless of how many people read, comment or even browse this site, I am convinced that I have been given this space for a purpose greater than myself. Greater than the internet.

So, if your reading this, THANK YOU!
And thanks to Him, I'll keep this going until I can.

Here's to the adventure of becoming more and more faithfull in Him alone!
